What does my registration fee include?

Non-Cornell attendee, no meals required ($75) includes:

  • Two days of stimulating talks and presentations
  • Poster Session
  • Coffee/refreshments during morning & afternoon breaks

Wednesday, Thursday: conference registration & meals provided ($150) includes

  • Two days of stimulating talks and presentations
  • Poster Session
  • Coffee/refreshments during morning & afternoon breaks
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday, August 14
  • Breakfast and lunch on Thursday, August 15.

If you’d like to change your registration to include meals, please email neuronex@cornell.edu before July 28, 2019.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Workshop and Conference Attendee ($170) (Tuesday workshop registrations are now closed, please stay tuned for future workshops.) includes:

  • The advanced workshop for Multiphoton Microscopy of Multiple Species followed by a tour of the LINC (Laboratory for Innovative Neurotechnology at Cornell) lab
  • Two days of stimulating talks and presentations
  • Coffee/refreshments during morning & afternoon breaks
  • Breakfast, lunch, and no-host dinner on Tuesday, August 13
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday, August 14
  • Breakfast and lunch on Thursday, August 15.

When is the registration deadline?

Registration for the 2019 NeuroNex Conference is open through 7/28/2019. Beyond this date, the rate for attendance will increase to $175.

I’m interested in presenting a poster. How can I submit my information?

If you plan to present a poster, please fill out this form confirming your presentation and poster title. Posters must not exceed 42″ wide by 60″ high. The poster session will be held in the Clark Atrium, the area outside of Physical Sciences Building 120. Your information will be printed and posted in the top righthand corner of a blank board. Please find this to set up your poster by 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 14. If you have any questions, contact neuronex@cornell.edu.

Is wireless internet available?

  • Visitors from eduroam-participating institutions: Connect to the eduroam secure Wi-Fi network using your credentials from your home institution. You do not need to register as a guest or obtain Cornell credentials to use eduroam.
  • Other visitors: Register to use the Cornell-Visitor network. Follow the steps below.
  1. Select Cornell-Visitor from the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device.
  2. A browser window should open automatically. You should see the Cornell-Visitor registration screen.
  3. Enter your name and email address and then check the box that you accept the terms of use.
  4. Click Register.
  5. You’ll see a confirmation screen. Click Log In. Because this is a visitor network, you will need to register your device daily.

Where should I book accommodations?

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Hotel Ithaca. Book through the direct reservation link at a discounted group rate with access code ‘3994’ (by July 28, 2019) or see the accommodation & travel information page for more details. You are welcome to take the shuttle from Hotel Ithaca regardless of where you stay.

Where should I park?

If you decide to drive to campus rather than take the shuttle, parking in the Hoy Rd. garage is suggested.

  • Walk the suggested route via Garden Ave/Sciences Drive until you reach Clark Hall. This is ~8-10 minute walk.
  • Follow the ramp down into the Physical Sciences Building through the glass doors. You will see signs for the NeuroNex Conference.

Pay for parking in advance

  • If you scheduled your visit online, use your unique parking access code provided in your visit confirmation email to purchase parking in advance. Be sure to bring your printed parking permit with you to display on your dashboard while parked. (A Parkmobile event will be available for the Hoy Road parking garage)
