Teaching

Computing On Earth lab members are committed to engaged, experimental, and student-centered pedagogy as a central and creative part of our scholarly practice. We draw inspiration from democratic and community education, active and experiential pedagogies, and learning from (and contributing to!) the research literature on teaching and learning, both within and beyond the classroom. We are also committed to engaged and creative pedagogy as a central site of impact for computing on earth themes and problems.

For examples of some of our research and publications around teaching and learning see X, Y, and Z. For syllabi, exercises, and other resources, see YY. For links to some amazing undergraduate projects coming out of our efforts in this field see ZZ.
