Weizhe Hua from Prof. Edward Suh’s group has won the prestigious ECE Outstanding PhD Thesis Research Award for 2023! The award is given to one graduating PhD student from the School of ECE yearly, based on the significance of their doctoral research. Weizhe recently joined Google Brain as a Research Scientist, after successfully defending his PhD thesis titled “Algorithm-Accelerator Co-Design for High-Performance and Secure Deep Learning”.
