Combining Integrated Electronics, Electromagnetics, and Quantum Engineering

Bowen Liu

Bowen Liu started his academic journey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), earning B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from 2018 to 2022. He is currently advancing his studies with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, anticipated to complete in 2024. Alongside his studies, Bowen began his first research venture as an intern at Cornell University in the summer of 2023. Under the guidance of Professor Ibrahim, his work is centered on cryogenic quantum computing control, a field that aligns with his academic focus on mixed-signal and RF circuit design. This immersion into research has offered Bowen the opportunity to convert his theoretical understanding into solutions for real-world challenges and groundbreaking projects.
