Special circumstances

It is my goal to teach all students effectively. If you need a disability or other accommodation, I am happy to work with you. It is easiest to accommodate requests that are made proactively.

The pandemic has made clear that our expectations of the future often need adjustment. If you find yourself in any situation this semester which makes participation as expected in this course difficult, please be in touch proactively so we can make a plan. Sometimes participation can be adjusted to meet your needs, and I am happy to work with you to find ways to do so effectively; other times the most humane solution is to withdraw from the course rather than to push through at all costs.

For such situations, or anything else, you can schedule time with me in my office hours via https://sengers.youcanbook.me. If those times do not work for you, you can reach me on Ed Discussion and we can schedule a different time.
