Bo Yang
PhD Candidate
Bo joined EERL in 2009 as a visiting scholar, and returned in 2013 as a PhD candidate. With his expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), Bo has been developing the CTAG model to simulate the evolutions of different types of exhaust plumes, including on-road vehicles, large coal-fired power plants, small natural gas combustion turbines, diesel backup generators and biomass CHP. Bo is also applying computational techniques to improve emission characterizations of combustion sources.
