Beyond your advisor, there are two good sources of conference funding from the department and Cornell broadly.
- Cornell Conference Travel Grant: This fund can be used once annually and gives up to $700 in funding. The maximum funding is for international travel, so it makes sense to prioritize using it for conferences abroad.
- ORIE NYC Travel Funding: The department will sponsor up to two trips to NYC each year ($400 per trip) or one trip ($800) for research or professional development. Reasons for travel need to pre-approved by e-mailing Leslie, and currently reimbursements (namely receipts up to the maximum amount) can be sent directly to Leslie.
