Abstract Guidelines:

• Only ONE abstract submission is acceptable per student.
• Abstract must not exceed 250 words maximum.
• Students must obtain permission from their research advisers and co-authors prior to submitting an abstract
• If working in the same lab, group or research project, students must submit original abstracts, written in their own words.
• No graphics, charts, or figures are allowed in abstract.

Abstracts must contain:

• At least two authors including the presenting student
• A descriptive title
• A hypothesis or statement about the problem under investigation
• A statement of the experimental methods/methodology used
• Results provided in summary form (even if preliminary)
• A conclusion that explains how the work contributes to the hypothesis or statement of problem
