Cara Robertus begins her CIDER Post-Doctoral Fellowship
As of July, Cara Robertus has started a post-doctoral fellowship in the Cornell InterDisciplinary Education Research program, or CIDER. The program allows post-docs to span multiple disciplines and push discipline boundaries in how they question and approach student learning and experiences. Her research will focus on studying how engineering and science identity measures vary by engineering discipline and how that affects retention and career pathways for both undergraduate and graduate students.
She has also been involved with the Active Learning Initiative for the CBE department to implement laboratory exercises in the junior-level separations course and study the impact of that curricular change on student learning and programmatic experience.
Congratulations to Cara!
