For First-Year Engineering Students:
As part of your ENGRG 1050 Engineering Seminar, the Major Departments in the College of Engineering will be offering Major Information Sessions on North Campus in the Robert Purcell Community Center (RPCC) and Appel Commons starting next week. These sessions are scheduled for September 13-16 and September 20-23 in the evenings between 7pm-10:30pm.
You are required to attend at least two different sessions during this two-week period. You are highly encouraged to attend more than two if you have interest in multiple majors.
You will then need to complete a form indicating which sessions you attended and two things that you learned about the majors. The completed form is due to one of your Peer Advisors no later than Friday, October 1st. The Peer Advisors will forward the completed forms to your Faculty Advisor so that credit can be awarded for the assignment. Your Peer Advisors will give you additional instructions about the submission process in your ENGRG 1050 session.
