Whether you have a professional or recreational interest, Club Fest is a great opportunity to explore the great variety of student organizations that Cornell offers. Involvement in student organizations offers you opportunities to socialize, learn, and show that you have the skills to make an impact.

Sophomore year is a time of decisions—choosing a major, off-campus study options, and summer internship planning. This will assist you in thinking about these topics while using Cornell Career Services. Not sure what you want to do yet, career-wise? You’re in good company! This program is designed to let you explore multiple areas of interest and help you tap into the extensive Cornell network. This session is for sophomore students from all colleges who are just getting started and is designed to help you leverage all the available resources for your individual career planning.

What Should I Do Next Summer Panel?

Are you curious about what you might do next summer as an engineering student? During this recorded panel presentation, students who participated in a wide variety of summer experiences, including internships/co-ops, research, and volunteer activities, share their perspectives. Panelists include students who participated in both remote and in-person experiences. You will gain insights to the breadth of summer experiences and activities that engineering students participated in the past.

 

Meet with an Advisor

  • Meet with our staff: Schedule a 30-minute appointment with an advisor to discuss your career exploration and decision-making questions.
  • Book a Virtual Same Day Meeting:  A short, 15-minute meeting to address urgent or getting started questions. Available daily when classes are in session.
  • Schedule a Resume Review or Practice Interview: Peer advisors are available for resume reviews as well as cover letter reviews and practice behavioral and coding interviews.
